But if you’re on next-gen platforms (PC, PS5, or Xbox Series X|S) and slap on Hao’s Special Works (HSW) mods, it rockets to an insane 172.5 mph (277.6 km/h)—making it the undisputed speed champ of GTA Online. Yeah, you read that right: it’s faster than some air vehicles! So, ready to dominate the streets?
What are HSW Upgrades?
Hao’s Special Works (HSW) upgrades, unleashed in 2022 with GTA Online’s Expanded & Enhanced edition for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, flipped the script on vehicle performance. These game-changing mods supercharge top speeds and sharpen handling like never before. You can only get this elite tuning at Hao’s Workshop in the LS Car Meet, making it the go-to spot for turning your ride into a street-dominating beast!
However to unlock HSW upgrades, you will first have to complete a time trial. You will get a phone call from Hao and then a marker will be displayed in North Vinewood near the Gas Station.
Upon starting the time trial you get 8 minutes to complete the race, if you complete within 8 minutes you get a free HSW upgrade for your first HSW car!
However if you don’t complete the race within 8 minutes, you won’t get the free HSW car upgrade!
These premium upgrades, priced between $500,000 and over $1,000,000, greatly enhance acceleration, top speed, and handling for specific vehicles. For example, the Grotti Stinger TT reaches 168 mph (271 km/h) with HSW Upgrades, ranking it as the second-fastest vehicle in GTA Online!
Note: HSW is only available on the next gen platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S.
Note: To unlock Free 1st Hao’s Car Upgrade to any vehicle compatible with HSW, you have to complete a time trial under 8:00 minutes first try!
